Grant Writing

We write for all types of grant proposals, including federal, state, county, city, private foundation and corporate giving.

We can provide grant source research to identify potential funding opportunities for project concepts. We’ll closely monitor government grant availability and utilize local databases of thousands of foundation and corporate giving sources.

When we gather resources and information to create your grant, we’ll not only help you identify specific financial targets, but also help you justify your need for these dollars. We’ll apply the same level of scrutiny as your funder to help vet this document for success.

In addition, we can help you develop the measurement resources necessary to prove that a funder’s gift has been well utilized. And once all due-diligence is complete, we’ll help you do it all again.

Our Process

What We Need To Get Started

Each grant is unique and as such will require unique resources. However, nearly every funder is going to look for some critical organizational information. Simply assembling these resources will speed the grant-writing process tremendously. These items include: board roster, IRS letter of determination, annual operating budget, 990 tax statements, project budgets, current streams of funding, past sources of funding and plans for future funding. We always want to portray your organization in its proper context. Having access to the following will be tremendously helpful to our writing process: your company's history, list of services provided, program overview, information about service populations, past outputs and outcomes from programs, projected outcomes for programs, strategic plan and past success stories. Once we begin the grant writing process, we will ask you to complete a quick survey to gather some key information about who you are and what you do. Afterwards, we will create a secure document sharing portal for easy exchange of needed documents.
